We are in a hurry to please all students of e-sports! We are launching the first eSports student league in Kazakhstan!

The Halyk Charitable Foundation together with the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Education Fund of Nursultan Nazarbayev, with the support of the Qazaq Cybersport Federation, announce the launch of the National Esports Student Association, a national student e-sports project.

The goal is to popularize esports in the country among the younger generation within the framework of the Association, the Kazakhstan Esports Student League was created.

The creation of such a league is a big step in the development of e-sports in Kazakhstan: the best universities in the country will gather their national teams in e-sports disciplines for the first time.

The Kazakhstan Esports Student League will not only provide a system-forming impetus for the development of the esports community in Kazakhstan, but will also open up many young talents.

The initiative of the Halyk Charitable Foundation and the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan in a project uniting the largest and most prestigious universities in the country is aimed at promoting Olympic values ​​among students and creates conditions for the popularization of sports culture.

The participation of the Qazaq Cybersport Federation recognized by the National Olympic Committee and accredited by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will open the way for student teams to the world of great esports and ensure a high level of tournament organization.

Supporting the rapidly gaining popularity of the youth platform, the partners of the Kazakhstan Esports Student League expect an increase in student interest in the Olympic Games and sports in general, as well as active involvement in sports events of the younger generation.

The student eSports league will be held on an ongoing basis and consists of four seasons, in each of which the game disciplines will change.

In the first season of the league, teams from seven universities will take part: UIB, Astana IT University, KBTU, AUPET, IITU, Satbayev University and KazNU, which will be formed based on the results of internal competitions.

From the second season of the tournament, all other universities will have access to join the National Esports Student Association.

The first season of the student league will be held in PUBG Mobile, CS: GO and Starcraft II from October 10 to November 12, 2020. Registration for tournaments opens on October 02, 2020.
