Chief Sanitary Doctor of Almaty signed a new quarantine decree

On Sunday, October 4, the chief state sanitary doctor of Almaty, Zhandarbek Bekshin, signed a new decree on easing quarantine in the city, Tengrinews.kz reports.

The full text of the document is available on the website of the Department for Quality Control and Safety of Goods and Services of the city of Almaty. The regulation comes into force at 00:00 on October 6.

The new decree introduces changes and additions to the previous one. In particular, theaters are allowed to operate in the city when the room occupancy is no more than 50 percent. In this case, the cultural object must be registered on the website infokazakhstan.kz.

Also, according to the decree, the operating mode of car washes, service stations, tire service stations, repair of household appliances, shoe workshops, dry cleaners and laundries was extended. Now they can carry out their activities from 10:00 to 00:00.

Public catering facilities (canteens, coffee shops, cafes, etc.) located in detached buildings will be able to work from 05:00 to 00:00 without holding collective events, as well as takeaway and delivery at a specified time is allowed.

The city akimat was instructed to ensure the isolation of persons with fever, regardless of the availability of a certificate to the infectious diseases hospital for differential diagnosis and treatment.

After receiving the results of laboratory tests, persons with positive results are transferred to a hospital for patients with COVID-19.
