AUPET and \"Schneider Electric\" - cooperation will be large-scale

On October 12, the issues of further cooperation between “Schneider Electric Kazakhstan” and the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev were discussed.

At the meeting in AUPET, the dialogue of the university management with the new general director of “Schneider Electric Kazakhstan”  Lev Appakov, the head of the Industry department Anton Tsapenko and the head of the automation department Zeyn Nazaibekov took place.

Rector Saule Sagintayeva stressed that for AUPET an important area of ​​work is partnership with such a company as “Schneider Electric Kazakhstan”, a recognized world leader in the field of industrial automation and power supply.

AUPET and Schneider Electric have already had some experience of joint cooperation. One of the forms of partnership was the opening on the basis of the Department of Automation and Control of an educational laboratory equipped with modern automation equipment and software "Schneider Electric".

In 2020, 720 grants were distributed across Kazakhstan for a group of educational programs related to automation. And 343 grant holders have chosen AUPET. This is the best indicator among 45 universities of the country, in which training is conducted in this group of educational programs.

The authoritative specialists of the company held a series of webinars for students of all specialties of Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev, which turned out to be very useful.

At the meeting on October 12 between the leadership of AUPET and Schneider Electric Kazakhstan, the mutual intention to develop bilateral cooperation in various directions was suggested. There are: the creation of a competence center for industrial automation on the basis of AUPET; joint holding of refresher courses; implementation of various projects for the introduction of automation systems into production; formation of joint educational programs and much more.

Thus,  Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev and "Schneider Electric Kazakhstan" are aimed at multilateral partnership.
