45 trees in honor of the 45th anniversary of the AUPET named after G. Daukeev

Yesterday, on the 22^nd of October, in the Park of the First President tree planting in honor of the 45th anniversary of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev was held. This event took place within the framework of the large-scale republican action "Eco-clock". Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev was its organizer.

The purpose of the event is to increase the level of environmental culture, environmental awareness and thinking of students, foster patriotism, strengthen moral and civic values in the youth environment, preserve and develop spiritual and cultural heritage, improve the ecological environment in the Park of the First President and popularize environmental awareness.

One of the main tasks of the residents of our city is to improve the environmental situation in Almaty. Therefore, it is no coincidence that the staff and students of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev in the anniversary year of their university took part in the action "Eco-hour".

45 trees is not just a number. This is a positive contribution to changing the ecology of the city, this is a healthy future, and this is a continuation of the traditions of the university, based on an understanding of responsibility and spirituality.

“As part of the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the university, we held several events, including social. During the pandemic, we held an action to distribute masks that were developed by our students. We distributed the masks to medical institutions on a charitable basis. The second action, also of a social nature, is to support our new students. We donated 800 laptops to them. And now today's action is also timed to coincide with the 45th anniversary, is the planting of the AUPET alley in the park of the First President. This action is being carried out within the framework of the ecological improvement of our country and ecological education. Today our students are actively involved in tree planting because they are the builders of our future. We want every Almaty citizen to breathe clean air”.
