The nationwide student online festival of arts \"Abai elemi\" - \"World of Abai\", dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev, was held at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev
At the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev, a nationwide student online festival of arts “Abai Alemi” – “World of Abai” was held. It was dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abai KunanbayevOn November 2 - 3, 2020, the Department for Language Studies of AUPET organized and conducted the 1st stage (selection round) of the national online festival of student art “Abai Alemi” – “World of Abai”, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev among students of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev. This event was held on the meet.google.com/jcz-zhmi-bcd platform. The contest was held in the following nominations – “Poetry of Abai”, “Words of Wisdom of Abai”, “Songs of Abai”, “Abai in the languages of the world”, “Abai alemi” – “The world of Abai”. 65 contestants took part in the selection round.
In the expressive reciting of “Poetry of Abai” contest, the following criteria were taken into account: expressive reciting of the declared work, stage performance, additional reading of other poems of the poet. In accordance with the requirements for this nomination, the following prizes were awarded: Toқtar Bekaidar (RETk-20-6 group) - 1st place; Nүken Aruzhan (EEk-20-10 group) and Alpamys Magzhan (SIS-20-4 group) - 2nd place; Zhalyn Ilina (RETk-20-1 group) and Ertaeva Darie (ISk-20-6 group) - ІІІ place.
In the “Words of Wisdom of Abai” contest - the jury awarded the 1st place to Tleuova Asiya - student of group ISk-20-1; Muftahi Adil (ACk-20-3 group) -2nd place; Imanmadieva Anel (ISk-20-6 group) - 3rd place. In this nomination, the reciting expressiveness, content analysis, speech culture, and the level of philosophical perception of the work were taken into account.
In the “Songs of Abai” nomination the 1st place was awarded to Sadyk Sagynysh the student of ISk-20-1group; the 2nd place was given to Tleugali Merey (STTk-20-1 group) and the 3rd place was given to Asem Kuanyshbek (ISk-20-6 group). The participants presented live performance of Abai’s songs. Live performance, mastery and dramatic character were assessed.
In the nomination “Abai in the languages of the world”, the following students were awarded: Erkin Zulim (EEk-20-8 group) - 1st place; Martai Zeynep (SEk)-20-1group) - 2nd place; Aisanov Aldiyar (EEk-20-2 group) - 3 rd place.
The participants recited Abai’s works (poems, “Words of Wisdom”, etc.) in Chinese, English and Russian languages.
In the drawing competition “The World of Abai” the winners were the following students: Bukenbaeva Akzhүnis (ACk-20-14group) got the 1st place; Mansur Gulnaz (ACk-20-13 group) and Shantimisova Arina (RETk-20-6 group) –the 2nd place; Nүken Aruzhan (EEk-20-10 group) and Fazylkarimov Aydin (ISk-20-6 group), Anibek Inzhumarzhan (RETk-20-6 group) got 3rd-place. In this nomination, the jury members especially noted the drawings of students Baskynbaev Madiyar (ACk-20-3 group) and Seilkhan Gaziza (EEk-20-19 group) for their creative approach. On the basis of their drawings, students conveyed philosophical understanding of Abai’s works.
The jury members thanked the contestants for their active participation and congratulated the winners of this round. The winners were awarded Certificates.
According to the jury decision, the students who took 1st places in the declared nominations were recommended to participate in the republican online festival, which will be held on December 4-5, 2020 at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.
