THE KAZAKH DIASPORA IS A SINGLE AND INSUITABLE WHOLE OF SOVEREIGN KAZAKHSTAN
On the occasion of Independence Day among 1st year students EEk 20-1, 2, 3, 6 and RETk-20-6, ISk-20-2, a brain-ring on the topic “Kazakh diaspora: history and modernity” was held.
Since gaining independence of Kazakhstan, one of the most important problems, which has always been in the focus of the country's leadership, was the establishment of close and multifaceted ties with the Kazakh diaspora living in foreign countries. Currently, diverse and multi-level ties with compatriots, who, due to various historical events, are scattered around the world, are an important area of Kazakhstan's activities in the international arena.
For our state, which is one of the ten largest countries in the modern world in terms of area, where on average 1 sq. km. 7 people live in the territory (for example, in Uzbekistan - 73 people), the urgency of this problem is quite obvious.
The Kazakh diaspora, living in countries with a multi-ethnic and multicultural tradition, is fluent in the language of the titular nations, respects their customs and traditions, and interacts tolerantly with representatives of various ethnic groups and cultural groups. At the same time, she strives to preserve her own national identity and pass it on to her descendants as the spiritual heritage of her people.
The issues of the life of the Kazakh diaspora in foreign countries are included in the curriculum for the discipline "modern history of Kazakhstan". And they are also included in the subject of semester works and in the list of questions for the state exam in this discipline.
Each training group was divided into three subgroups, each of which performed tasks consisting of the following three stages of the brain-ring:
1. The questions for the team (4 questions for each team. Teams answered the questions in turn, if the team could not answer, then the right was given to answer their rivals.
2. The teams took turns asking questions to each other.
3. The question to the team captain
A variety of issues related to the life of the Kazakh diaspora were considered at the event: the stages of the formation of the Kazakh diaspora, the chronicle of events and historical phenomena that contribute to the formation of the Kazakh diaspora. Questions were about such famous descendants of representatives of the first and subsequent waves of the Kazakh diaspora as Mustafa Ozturk, Khasen Oraltai, Abduakap Kara, Natalya Arinbasarova, Aman Tuleyev, Marat Bisengaliev, Almaz Sharman, Dina Amanzholova, etc.
After completing the main part, students shared their thoughts on the relevance of the briefing topic. The policy of our country, carried out in relation to compatriots, undoubtedly contributes to the growth of the authority and attractiveness of Kazakhstan in the international arena. The students discussed how to return more than five million representatives of the Kazakh diaspora who are abroad to their historical homeland, where the problem of improving the demographic situation is acute. And also what needs to be done to make Kazakhstan attractive for Kazakhs living in Western countries, etc.
According to the terms of the online event, 5 seconds were given to think over each question.
As the results of the event held at our university showed a large number of literate and erudite young people who show a keen interest in modern socio-historical problems, have their own views and judgments, and are able to formulate interesting proposals on the issues brought up for discussion.
The fragments covering the events will be presented below.
