AUPET College - start to the future!

Now students ,who are finishing their studies at the college of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev this year, are entering the final and most important stage of their studies. One of the most popular specialties at AUPET is “Automation and Control”.

Currently, fourth-year students are undergoing professional practice. They entered AUPET College after finishing the ninth grade of high school. Now these students are setting themselves the task of successfully defending their thesis and entering the specialty "Automation and Control" at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev.

Some of the future graduates decided to try their hand at production during their professional practice. Others are practicing at AUPET at the Department “Automation and Control”. Here the practice takes place in compliance with all the required sanitary standards. This also applies to the number of students simultaneously present in the classroom, so the attendance schedule is sliding.

Students who undergo professional practice at the Department “Automation and Control” is  working with the LabView and Mathlab software modeling environments and learn about the capabilities of the C ++ programming language. All this will help students to successfully write their thesis. Students are studying modern equipment that is widely used today in various fields of human activity. The Department “Automation and Control” of AUPET is equipped with automation elements and devices from such well-known companies as Schneider electric, Siemens, ABB, Tornado, B&R, Honeywell, Oven and others.

The head of the practice is assistant professor, candidate of technical sciences Klara Sauanova. To conduct the classes, engineers and faculty of the Department “Automation and Control” are involved.

“We strongly support the desire of college students to acquire new knowledge and consolidate practical skills,” says the director of the AUPET college, professor Malikzhan Arshidinov. - "Automation and Control" is one of the most popular and demanded specialties. AUPET has all the conditions for our students to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities that will allow them to be competitive in their future work activities and continue their successful studies at a higher educational institution. Classes on special subjects in the college are conducted by AUPET faculty – highly qualified  specialist. These are faculty who know how to interest their students, find an individual approach to them and, in case of any difficulties in their studies, help them cope with them. At the Department “Automation and Control”, these are, for example, Vladimir Vasilievich Pogrebnyak, Klara Tagaevna Sauanova, Zhanna Serikbaevna Tleubaeva, Natalia Aleksandrovna Vodolazkina, Shynar Kishikbaevna Adilova. They provide a high standard of learning in our college.

 After completing professional practice, students undergo pre-diploma practice at the final year. And then the main exam awaits them - the defense of the thesis. Education at the college at AUPET is conducted in six educational programs in the Kazakh and Russian languages on the basis of the ninth and eleventh grades.
