On 26^th of January, 2021, at 3p.m. on the Google Meet platform, the WEBINAR on the theme "The effectiveness of information technology and the quality of distance learning” will be held. The event is organized by the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev (AUPET), Kazan Federal University, National Research University "MPEI", Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio electronics, Kazakh-British University, and Kaspersky Lab in Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the event is to discuss the following areas:

 - Trends and prospects for the development of distance education.

- Issues of regulatory support of distance education and the use of distance learning technologies in the educational process.

- Features of the use and learning process on open educational platforms.

- Methodology for the development of educational materials for distance learning.

- Improving the quality of training students using distance learning technologies.

Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab in Kazakhstan Pitolin Evgeniy, as well as doctoral student of Kazakh-British University Nasir Arman will take part in the webinar.

The representatives of the universities of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation are invited as speakers.

Recommendations for the relevant areas of the Distance Learning format will be adopted at the end of the webinar.
