From 2021, universities will issue their own diplomas. What does it give and how to protect yourself from counterfeiting?
Own diplomas give employers the opportunity to assess the quality of specialist training.
The diplomas must indicate the university, the name of the educational program, the data of the graduate, the form of study, must be signed by the rector, who is personally responsible for the issued diploma.
Each diploma will have a unique identification number generated by the Ministry of Education and Science.
The issuance of a diploma by a university to a person who has not studied at this university will be the basis for revoking the license and the accreditation.
Counterfeiting one's own diplomas is considered to be a forgery of official documents. For such an act, liability is provided for under Article 385 of the Criminal Code.
