Professional practice will be counted for students in their work experience in Kazakhstan
Professional practice will be counted for students in their work experience in Kazakhstan. Such an opportunity appeared within the framework of dual education, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to 24.kz.
A familiar situation for many graduates: you receive a long-awaited diploma and start looking for a job. And the requirements say: work experience of two or even three years. This forces many graduates to get jobs outside their specialty. But, starting this year, the situation will change radically.
"The law on education has been signed. The following changes have been made - the contract on dual education is now included in the list of documents confirming work experience. Currently, the ministry is making changes to orders, to the rules for organizing dual education and to model contracts on dual training," says the head Department of Technical and Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kalamkas Algazinova.
535 colleges are on dual training, more than 5 thousand enterprises have concluded agreements, the coverage of students today is 58 thousand 600 people.
In dual education, students first acquire theoretical knowledge in college and then apply it in practice in the workplace. A mentor is assigned to each student. He must teach all the intricacies of the profession. If the student shows himself well, he can be officially employed. At the same time, the scholarship is also preserved.
