On February 9, 2021 the meeting of the university leadership with the chief engineer of the JSC “National Company of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” Kotyrev B. and the Adviser of the UIC for the Asia-Pacific region Petrunina I.P. was held in online mode

On February 9, 2021, at the initiative of the Institute for Advanced Studies of the AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev, the meeting of the university leadership with the chief engineer of the JSC “National Company of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” Batyr Kotyrev Kotyrev and the deputy of the city Maslikhat and the Adviser of the International Union of Railways for the Asia-Pacific region Petrunina Irina Petrovna was held in online mode.

The Rector of AUPET Sagintaeva Saule Savetovna made a welcoming speech. Vice-rector for scientific and innovation activities Saukhimov Almaz Abzhalievich made a presentation on the scientific and technical activities of AUPET.

During the interested conversation, the parties discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation in the implementation of promising scientific projects to develop energy efficiency and expand energy audit at railway transport enterprises. The issues of determining new directions and joint implementation of international projects in connection with the entry of AUPET into members of the International Union of Railways, which is a platform for multilateral partnership, were also discussed.

With the support of the JSC “National Company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” and the representative of the “International Union of Railways”, the decision to prepare for the signing of a Memorandum with AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev was made.
