Almaty university of power engineering and telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev  announces a competition for the vacant position of the head of Department “IT Engineering” from March 01, 2021 with the following requirements:

the presence of a PhD degree or a candidate of technical sciences / doctor of technical sciences (required); work experience of at least 5 years of scientific and pedagogical activity and at least 1 year in a managerial position (required); participation in funded research projects (preferably); proficiency in English not lower than the Pre-Intermediate level (required); availability of 5 scientific articles over the past 5 years in publications; recommended by the Committee for the Control of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (required) and at least 1 article in the SCOPUS database, percentile of at least 25 or Web of Science (1,2,3 quartiles is desirable).

Persons wishing to participate in the competition submit their application and documents online (scanned or photographed legibly) through the AUPET electronic platform: https://kkk.aues.kz until 10:00, February 24, 2021.

For persons with academic degrees of candidate and / or doctor of sciences, it is obligatory to attach a scan (photo) of the first and second pages of the dissertation abstract, where the code and name of the defense specialty are indicated.

The originals of the documents are provided after passing the competition when drawing up the contract.

Submission of an incomplete package of documents to the AUPET electronic platform is a ground for refusal in any form.
