Recently it became known that they want to exclude the discipline "physical culture" from the state compulsory education standards at all levels of higher education. However, this information is not true. Yes, now universities have academic freedom and independently resolve many issues. But in Kazakhstan, the development of mass sports and physical education is given priority at the state level. The Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the near future expects an increase in the coverage of the population engaged in physical culture and sports among all age categories to 45%. And the rejection of the discipline "physical culture" in universities simply contradicts the policy of our state.

According to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.-J. Tokayev, today it is necessary to pay the most serious attention to the sports and creative potential of the younger generation. In the near future, sports sections will be opened in every region, large regional centers. In addition, the introduction of national sports in schools is enshrined in law in Kazakhstan. The head of state signed the law “On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on culture, physical culture and sports”. The document provides that from May 1, 2021, the Ministry of Culture and Sports will place state creative, sports orders in creative circles and sections.

A full-time sports instructor will appear in each akimat. Also, national sports are introduced in physical education classes at all levels of education. The Ministry of Culture and Sports will gradually introduce them into the educational process. First of all, they will introduce asyk atu, togyz kumalak and kazaksha kures, then odyryspa, the next stage - kokpar, zhamby atu, zhekpeszhek.

All types of Kazakh national sports bring up in youth such qualities as Courage, DECISION, inherent in the REAL PATRIOT of his country. COKPAR is the most ANCIENT, the MUCHEST, the most SPECTACULAR kind of national sports games.

In this regard, 5 leading universities of the country created the National Youth Sports League for Kokpar (JKL) and organized their own teams: Al-Farabi Kazakh Scientific University, Kazakh National Agrarian University, Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism, Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay.
