The meeting of the National Commission on the implementation of the program for the modernization of public consciousness was held

Under the chairmanship of the Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan Krymbek Kusherbayev, a meeting of the National Commission for the implementation of the program for the modernization of public consciousness under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. During the meeting, which was held in a videoconference format, the current results of the program implementation and the priority areas for further work were discussed.

Opening the meeting, Krymbek Kusherbayev noted that the Head of State, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, in his program article "Independence Above All", outlined the value guidelines for the further development of the "Rukhani Zhagyru" program. They were initiated by the First President - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev. First, it is the protection and respect for the sacred values of our Independence. Secondly, it is a clear state position on topical issues of social development.

The State Secretary stressed that in the face of modern risks and challenges of globalization, the Rouhani Zhangyru program is the most important benchmark for the development of human capital and a mechanism for building a new ideological agenda for our society.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov, in 2020, as part of the implementation of the Action Plan of the Rukhani Zhangyru program, more than 30,000 events were held. They reached about 8 million people. New value approaches and mechanisms for the implementation of the Program made it possible to expand activities in three main areas: "Personal development", "National identity and increasing international status", "Development of the state, civil society and local community". Four new special projects were introduced: “Unem - Gogam Kuaty”, “Dastur men Kuyp”, “Kukyktyk madeniyet” and “Enbek - eldin muraty”.

Within the framework of the special project "Tugan Zher" last year, domestic patrons invested about 10 billion tenge in the development of key regional infrastructure facilities, built 537 and reconstructed 445 socially significant objects.

The meeting participants presented a special Roadmap for the implementation of the Program for the Modernization of Public Consciousness.

Speakers at the meeting were: a famous scientist, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Talas Omarbekov, Chairman of the Board of the State Center for Support of National Cinema Esetzhan Kosubaev, a philanthropist from the Borodulikha district of the East Kazakhstan region Konstantin Pop, executive director of the Association of Fellows of the International Scholarship "Bolashak" Laura Demesinova.

Following the meeting, a number of instructions were given to the Government to ensure high-quality and efficient implementation of the Roadmap for the Rouhani Zhangyru program for 2021.

The Secretary of State also instructed to consider the proposals and recommendations of the National Commission, including on the opening of the project office "People's History" to write a complete academic history of Kazakhstan, to strengthen the theme of the special project "History in Cinema and on Television", the development of tourism within the framework of the special project "Kieli Kazakhstan", the creation of a domestic Bank of Inventors. Attention was also drawn to the need to provide high-quality cultural, educational and educational content, especially for children and youth.
