Automation is needed everywhere - AUPET students presented their scientific works

The specialty "Automation and Control" today is in demand in almost any area of human activity. This has been demonstrated at the department, institute and university conferences in the research work of students. They study under the educational program "Automation and Control".

At the first, department stage of the competition in the specialty "Automation and Control" 15 works were presented. In addition to fourth-year students graduating from the university this year, second-year students made presentations and spoke about their projects too. According to the results of the department conference, part of the work was recommended for participation in the institute stage, where one first place was determined, two second and three thirds:

1st place - Sufya Izmailova - group Automation and Information in Control Systems -17-5, supervisor - professor Khan S.G .;

2nd place - Kirill Fedorenko - group Automation and Information in Control Systems -17-5, supervisor - professor A. Kopesbaeva;

2nd place - Kirill Korkin - group Automation and Information in Control Systems -17-5, supervisor - associate professor Syabina N.V .;

3rd place - Aliya Balgereeva - group Automation and control in the fuel and energy complex -17-6, supervisor  - associate professor I.A. Fedorenko

3rd place - Chingiz Bashirov Ch. - group Automation and Control k-19-1, supervisors - professor Utepbergenov I.T. and associate professor Sagyndykova Sh.N.

3rd place - Zhandos Rakhmetuly Zh. - group Automation and Control k-19-2, supervisors - professor Utepbergenov I.T. and associate professor Sagyndykova Sh.N.

The works of all six prize-winners were recommended for participation in the next, university stage of the competition of research papers of students in the specialty "Automation and Control". The competitive commission of the university decided to submit the following works for participation in the Republican stage:

I degree diploma - S. Izmailova, "Development of an Automated Control System for a Hydroponic Plant", gr. Automation and Information in Control Systems -17-5, supervisor - candidate of technical sciences, professor Khan S.G .;

IІ degree diploma - K. Fedorenko, "Development and research of an automated control system for engineering systems of the off-site facilities of the Lukoil Kazakhstan plant", group Automation and Information in Control Systems -17-5, scientific supervisor - candidate of technical sciences, professor A.A. Kopesbaeva.

IІІ degree diploma - K. Korkin, "Development of an automatic contactless payment system for goods", gr. Automated information management system -17-5, scientific supervisor - candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Syabina N.V.

By the names of the topics of the laureates of the university stage, one can judge the diversity of research interests of students studying in the specialty "Automation and Control". The winner of the university stage of the competition, Sufya Izmailova, came to study at AUPET from Taldykorgan. On the topic of her research work, she designed and manufactured a plant with a control system that allows you to grow agricultural products without soil and using renewable energy sources.

The competition work presented by Kirill Fedorenko is part of a real project to automate the Lukoil Kazakhstan plant. It is located in the Almaty region. The company that is engaged in this project invited the AUPET student to work when he was still in his third year - after undergoing industrial practice.

But the ideas and ways of its implementation, proposed by Kirill Korkin, relate to what is only supposed to be introduced into our daily life. The topic of this AUPET student's work is "Development of an automatic contactless payment system" in supermarkets.

All competitive works performed by students of the specialty "Automation and Control" are of interest. For example, a sophomore Zhandos Rakhmetuly had the idea of the "Development of a smart door" project after he once, leaving home, forgot to close the front door with a key. Zhandos has developed a device and software for it, which independently controls the "door" situation. But another sophomore - Chingiz Bashirov's interest in cars was realized in the work "Development of a virtual game steering wheel".

It is logical that AUPET students from Atyrau were interested in oil topics. Aliya Balgereeva presented her work on the topic "Development of a control system for the technological process of oil treatment." The novelty of her project lies in the improvement of the automation scheme and the use of the latest automation tools. Alexander Sekeev and Alina Kozhagulova were impressed by the traffic situation in the largest city of the country - Almaty. Alexander's project is "Development of an automated information system" Smart installation", Alina's work is "Development of an automatic security system for pedestrian crossings".

Social projects can also include the works of Nurlan Khamzin and Anuar Kayrgaliev - respectively, "Control system for the production of paper from natural primary raw materials" - leaves fallen from trees "and" Automation system for the technological process of garbage processing on the Siemens hardware and software platform.

A student from Montenegro, Nikola Masonichich, who is also studying at AUPET with a degree in “Automation and Control”, chose an equally significant topic for his project - “Development of a control system for the process of purifying spring water”. Unfortunately, even spring water now needs to be treated.

And, of course, works related to energy were presented at the conference - after all, here, too, one cannot do without automation. Andrey Litvinov's project is "Development of a computer-aided design system for power supply facilities based on Homer PRO software", and Anton Panchenko's work is "Control system for a solar hydraulic system using web technologies."

In general, there are no application limits for the “Automation and Control” specialty! This is what is required today in any field of human activity!
