EVENT IN HONOR OF ALIKHAN BUKEYKHANOV

On March 5, 2021, the Department “Social Disciplines” of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev organized an online round table dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the leader of the movement “Alash” Alikhan Bokeikhanov.

Svetlana Odepovna Smagulova, Doctor of Historical Sciences, presented the report "Alikhan Bokeikhanov - the leader of the national intelligentsia."

Candidate of Historical Sciences Tulenova Zirabubi Maimakovna in her speech "The vitality and significance of the principles of Alikhan Bokeikhanov" analyzed the basic principles of the leaders of “Alash”.

Bolat Zholamanovich Kabdushev, Head of the Department of Social Disciplines, Candidate of Historical Sciences, presented archival data on the similarities and relationships between Alikhan Bokeikhanov and Nigmet Nurmakov.

By organizing a small round table, the faculty of the department contributed to the celebration of the 155th anniversary of Alikhan Nurmukhamedovich Bokeikhanov, a prominent statesman and public figure, scientist, publicist, leader of the movement “Alash”.

“We need to be rich, educated and strong. To be rich, you need to be a professional; to get an education, you need to study. And to be strong, you need unity,” - said Alikhan Bukeikhanov.
