THE ROUND TABLE "ROLE AND SIGNIFICANCE OF 100 NEW TEXTBOOKS IN HUMANITIES EDUCATION"

On March 16, 2021, the faculty of the Department Social Disciplines” of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev organized a round table with the participation of prominent scientists, faculty and students. Vice-rector for educational work Makhmutov S.K. made a welcoming speech to the participants of the round table. The moderator of the meeting, Elzat Yerkinovich Jarkinbaev, introduced the guests and outlined the rules of the meeting.

Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Social Sciences of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State Prize in the field of science and technology Sabit Murat Sabitovich opened the round table session with his report "Global problems of our time". Sabit M.S. raised the issues of the development of the philosophy of the Kazakh language, the creation of a school of translators, the development of a terminological dictionary, the implementation of translation activities on an ongoing basis.

The report of Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Begalinova Kalimash Kapsamatovna was devoted to the problem of teaching the history of philosophy in the educational process, the architectonics of language.

Kuranbek Aset Abayuly - Candidate of Philosophy, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Head of the Department of Philosophy took part in the round table. The topic of his report: "Humanitarian bilim salasyn zhangyrtuga" 100 zhana oқulyk zhobasynyn roli ". As part of the report, he assessed the state and prospects for the development of the school of translation in Kazakhstan. The speaker focused on the existing problems of lack of personnel for successful translation of terminology and made a proposal for joint cooperation in the future.

Professor Ayazhan Sagigyzy prepared a report “Humanitarian knowledge and challenges of the time”. Professor, candidate of philosophical sciences Mukhamedzhan Kuanysh presented the report "Rukhani tanymdy baytatyn ogulyktar".

During the meeting, questions of the philosophy of language, the creation of a school for the translation of world literature into the Kazakh language, issues of dialectics and much more were discussed. The discussion of this topic was controversial.
