Chief sanitary doctor of Almaty Zhandarbek Bekshin said this during a briefing, Tengrinews.kz reports.
"In Almaty, 437 cases were registered in the last 24 hours - this is the highest figure. We promptly adopted a resolution. If we do not take drastic measures, we will not be able to stop the spread of the infection. We pay the most serious attention to those objects that are the main ones in the spread of infection. We even paid attention to schools. We reduced the class size from 25 to 15 students, "Bekshin said.
Also, the work of non-grocery stores with an area of up to 500 square meters is limited (from 10.00 to 20.00),
- Hairdressers and beauty salons can now only work on haircuts and only by appointment. Manicure, pedicure and cosmetic services are prohibited,
- hotels, hotels, resort recreation centers - occupancy rate no more than 50 percent,
- SEC and markets will stop working from March 21 to March 28,
- catering facilities that are located in the premises, including those located in the mall, operate only for takeaway and delivery without time limits,
- suspended work of libraries,
- public transport and suburban routes - on weekdays as scheduled. On weekends and holidays, the transport will work according to the schedule from 6.00 am to 10.00, in the evening from 17.00 to 22.00.
- sports facilities will not work, with the exception of those accredited by the National Olympic Committee for the training of members of national teams,
- sports and health and fitness centers are shut down and are banned.
Also, mass skating on the high-mountain skating rink "Medeu" is prohibited. Visits to the Shymbulak ski resort have been reduced by 10 times, to 500 people. Catering facilities at the resort will only operate for takeaway and delivery.
