The winner and prize-winners of the subject Olympiad in the specialty "Automation and Control" were determined

Participation in the university subject Olympiad became for students of the specialty "Automation and Control" a test of their knowledge, skills and abilities. Its results can be considered as a kind of starting point not only for summing up the results, but also for adjusting the educational process in the future.

In the university subject Olympiad on "Automation and Control", students from seven groups of the third year of the Kazakh and Russian departments, studying in this specialty at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev, took part. The Department of "Automation and Control" with the participation of the Department “Electrical Engineering" became the organizer of the Olympiad. Questions on three disciplines were in each task - "Linear Automatic Control Systems", "Nonlinear Automatic Control Systems" and "Theoretical Issues of Electrical Engineering".

The commission members of the Department “Automation and Control” included: Associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences Fedorenko I. A. (Chairman), senior teachers Atalykova A. K. (Secretary), Candidate of Technical Sciences Kusainov B. K., Musabekov N. R . and senior lecturer of the Department “Electrical Engineering” Arshabekova A. T.

The tasks were taking into account the republican subject Olympiad in the specialty "Automation and Control", where AUPET students are traditionally among the winners. And in 2019 they took all the prizes - first, second and third, having won a landslide victory in the team competition.

The results at the current University Olympiad inspire hope for the successful performance of the AUPET team in April already at the republican level. At the same time, at least the fact that the winners are only a few points apart from each other speaks of the intensity of the struggle. As a result, the student of the group OUT-18-9 Atabek Jakhanov (pictured) scored 15 points and took first place. The key to his success was stability, as a result of which Atabek managed to score almost equal points in each subject.

A vivid confirmation of the fact that girls can successfully cope with the program of the specialty "Automation and Control" was the second place of the student of the group AaCS-18-1 Gulnaz Keles - 13 points. Moreover, she scored all her points in specialized subjects - "Linear automatic control systems" and "Nonlinear automatic control systems".

Yernar Darybaev, student of the ACTk-18-6 group, scored 11 points and took third place. His strong point is knowledge of specialized subjects. Only one point separated from the podium of the student of the group AaCSk-18-3 Nurzhan Alulanov - 10 points and the fourth place. At the same time, he coped best with the task in the discipline "Linear automatic control systems".

Now all participants are invited to prepare for the republican subject Olympiad in the specialty "Automation and Control". There, the traditional task will face them - to be among the best and to reaffirm the high level of training of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev.
