NURLAN SANZHAR'S NOVELS "JUCHI" AND "BATU-KHAN"

Representatives of Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev met again the Honored Art Worker of Kazakhstan, scientist-philosopher, writer, screenwriter, 7-time Grand Prix winner of international film festivals of feature films Nurlan Sanzhar, who played the main role in the famous film "My name is Kozha".

The historical novels by Nurlan Sanzhar "The Unexpected Guest of Jochi" and "Batu Khan" were published by the Meloman publishing house. For the first time, the author's talent for writing was recognized in 2008 with the publication of the story "Angel", which was highly appreciated by readers and writers.

On June 5, 2020, shortly after the publication of the historical novel about Jochi, we organized a meeting of the author with the faculty and students of our university. The guest noted that he really wanted to know the true history of the nomads and therefore turned to the historical topic. Writing a script and searching for material led to the creation of the novel. We joked: "If you continue to search for material and then write the entire history of the Golden Horde."

Nurlan Sanzhar, out of respect for our team, donated two books to the library and the project office of "Rukhani Zhayuyru" in the hope that they will find their readers at our university. We also know that the presentation of the author's books, scheduled from last year, has been postponed due to the pandemic. I was asked to become one of the moderators of this event.

We presented our guest with a book-album "The Creative Way of the Parasat Club" dedicated to the 45th anniversary of our university, with photographs and autographs. They confirm that he became an honorary member of the "Parasat" club. We were amazed that the guest is happy to carry the briefcase that we presented to him at the last creative meeting. At parting, we expressed our gratitude to the guest and wished him good health.
