A citizen of Montenegro, Velimir Masonichich is a graduate of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev, where he studied with a degree in “Automation and Control”. Velimir told about his studies at AUPET and life in Kazakhstan on the air of the central TV channel of Montenegro - RTCG.

In Kazakhstan, Velimir Masonichich graduated from the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications with a degree in Automation and Control in 2019. The topic of his graduation project was related to Montenegro - "Development of a water supply management system for municipal buildings in the city of Bar".

Bar is the city in Montenegro where Masonich was born. He immediately became interested in the idea of ​​completing a graduation project, the subject of which would be related to his hometown. As a result of the analysis of local peculiarities and urgent tasks Velimir and the head of his diploma project, associate professor of the Department  “Automation and Control” I. A. Fedorenko decided to develop a water supply management system for municipal buildings. Masonich defended his diploma with excellent marks, proposing his own version of improving the functioning of the water economy of the city of Bar.

Now Velimir is in Montenegro and has been famous throughout the country. The representatives of the Central National TV Channel - RTCG became interested in the life of their young compatriot and invited him as a guest in the studio. Velimir spoke about what his studies at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications gave him, and answered questions regarding education and life in Kazakhstan. Masonich is going to continue his studies here already in the Master’s degree program.

By the way, his younger brother, Nikola Masonich, is now also studying at a Kazakh university. He also chose "Automation and Control", and also - Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev!
