Strengthening quarantine extended in Almaty
Strengthening quarantine extended in Almaty
On Saturday, March 27, the chief state sanitary doctor of Almaty, Zhandarbek Bekshin, signed a decree to extend the enhanced quarantine measures in the city until April 12, Tengrinews.kz reports.
Taking into account the further deterioration of the epidemiological situation with regard to coronavirus infection in Almaty, the increase in the incidence of school-age children, in order to localize the spread of coronavirus infection, I decide:
To extend until April 12 of this year inclusively the action of the decree of March 20 "On strengthening measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in Almaty for the period from 21 to 28 March 2021 "with the introduction of the following additions and changes:
1) to transfer to a distance learning format for students of general education schools and students of TVE and universities;
2) to permit the work of duty groups in grades 1-5, 9 and 11 of secondary schools with up to 15 children at the request of the parents;
3) the Department of Religious Affairs of the city of Almaty to ensure daily monitoring of compliance with restrictions on the work of religious objects (mosques, churches, etc.);
4) allow individual worship and prayers (in prayer rooms and rooms for performing national rituals (neke-kiyu, baptism, etc.), markings are placed to maintain a social distance of at least 1.5 meters between parishioners and at least 2.5 meters between a representative clergy and parishioners);
5) collective services are prohibited (zhuma and five-time prayers, meetings, Sunday services, etc.);
6) it is prohibited to hold a collective auyzshar, with the exception of an auyzshar among members of the same family during the holy month of Ramadan;
7) funeral rites should be carried out with the participation of close relatives of no more than 10 people (it is recommended that the relatives of the deceased and representatives of the official clergy, if possible, carry out "washing of the body" in the conditions of the morgue and the pathological anatomical bureau.
Conduct a "correspondence funeral service" for the deceased, as well as limit the participation of older people in the funeral process);
8) the leaders of the clergy provide clergy and other personnel with a supply of masks and gloves, as well as conduct explanatory work with communities on the observance of personal safety rules;
9) The Department of Housing Policy, in addition to ongoing preventive disinfection, ensure the disinfection of small architectural forms and devices in parks and city streets (benches, ATMs, parking meters, payment terminals, etc.).
The resolution comes into force on March 29. The full text of the resolution is published on the page of the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the city of Almaty.
