The International webinar “PROBLEMS OF ASSESSMENT OF RELIABILITY OF SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION”. Professor Bobrov (Novosibirsk) will give a keynote report
New capabilities of control systems and IT technologies are the general focus of the webinar series. Their organizer is Doctor of Technical Sciences Irbulat Turemuratovich Utepbergenov. He is a research professor at the Department “Automation and Control” of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev.
Professor Utepbergenov's webinars are not only a meeting place for scientists from various domestic universities, but also foreign ones. In each new webiner, the number of participating universities increases. This webinar is organized by AUPET in cooperation with such an authoritative educational institution in the field of higher education as Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management and with the participation of Turan University.
The upcoming webinar is devoted to the problems of assessing the reliability of scientific information. This topic is important both for Kazakhstani scientists, undergraduates, doctoral students and faculty, and for their Russian colleagues.
The main speaker is Leonid Kupriyanovich Bobrov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Applied Informatics, Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management. The topic of his speech is “Reliability of Scientific Information: Trust, but Verify (Examples from Practice)”.
Bobrov L.K. is the author of about three hundred published works, including 11 monographs and textbooks on information and related technologies.
Scientific interests of L.K. Bobrova: World information resources and systems, information management, management of scientific, technical and business information.
He reads the following courses (undergraduate’s, Master's, PhD programs): "Information intelligence", "Information retrieval in science and education", "Information resource management", "Cloud services and resources", "Business information management", "Actual theoretical and applied problems of information and network technologies "," Management of information systems ", as well as a number of author's courses for graduate undergraduates and students of Master’s and PhD programs studying in IT areas.
