Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev, together with the Kazakhstan Association of Solar Energy, held a scientific and practical webinar on the topic "Sustainable development of green energy in Kazakhstan."

The participants of the event on April 12, 2021 exchanged views live on topical issues and the development of practical recommendations on key areas for the development of Renewable Energy Sources in Kazakhstan. There are the removal of economic and technological barriers to the development of renewable energy sources, the integration of green and traditional energy and the development of human capital for the exploitation of renewable energy services.

The Rector of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev Sagintayeva Saule Savetovna and Chairman of the Board of the Association of Legal Entities "Association of Environmental Organizations of Kazakhstan" Solovieva Aigul Sagadibekovna were the first to speak at the scientific and practical webinar. "

Aigul Sagadibekovna Solovyeva, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Legal Entities "Association of Environmental Organizations of Kazakhstan", noted the important role of the scientific and practical webinar. Former Director of the Department of Renewable Energy Sources of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ainur Saparbekovna Sospanova and leading researcher of the Smart Power Grid Scientific and Technical Center Anur Talgatovich Bektimirov made a report “Integration of renewable energy sources into the electric grid”. The Chief Dispatcher of the National Dispatch Center of the System Operator of KEGOC JSC Mukatov Bekzhan Batyrovich and the Director of the Institute of Electric Power and Electrical Engineering Abdimuratov Zhubanysh Suynulaevich made a presentation on training personnel for sustainable development of green energy and Chairman of the Board of the Central Asian Electricity Corporation Oral Bagdat Erkebulanuly.
