WE CONGRATULATE KURALBAYEV ZAUYTBEK ON THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY!

On April 22, 2021, the Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Department “IT Engineering”, Kuralbayev Zauytbek turns 75 years old.

Zauytbek began his career in 1968, immediately after graduating from the Kazakh State University named after S.M. Kirov with a degree in mechanics. For 53 years of work, he passed all stages of professional growth from a senior laboratory assistant at the Kazakh Research Institute of Energy to the rector of the Kazakh Financial and Economic Institute.

In 1979 he defended his first candidate dissertation. In 1985 he was awarded the academic title of "Associate Professor". In 1993 he received the academic title of "professor" in the Department “Applied Mathematics and Computer Science”. In 2006 he defended his doctoral dissertation.

Scientific research works of Kuralbayev Zauytbek are reflected in numerous publications published in our country and abroad.

Since 2006, he started working at Almaty Institute of Power Engineering and Telecommunications as a professor at the Department “Engineering Cybernetics”. Since 2008, he was in charge of the Department “Electronics and Computer Technologies”. He currently works as a professor at the Department “IT Engineering”.

Kuralbayev Zauytbek is an expert of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For five years he was the chairman of the expert council on mechanics and mechanical engineering of the Committee for control in the field of education and science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He was awarded the sign of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Y. Altynsarin", the gold medal "Academician Yerzhanov". In 2007, he won  "The Best University Teacher" grant.

The professional qualities and rich life experience of Kuralbayev Zauytbek are in demand now. He makes a huge personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists and strengthening the scientific potential of the University. Today, in the year of his 75th Anniversary, Zauytbek teaches undergraduates and students of Master’s programs of the Department “IT Engineering” and is the head of graduate and dissertation papers.
