AUPET is opening a new educational bachelor program \"Industry 4.0 - Systems Engineering\" with the University of Germany

Applicants-2021, rejoice! At the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev together with the University of Applied Sciences Anhalt (Germany), a new international educational program «Industry 4.0 - Systems Engineering» is opening. The Director of the Department “International Cooperation and Academic Mobility” of AUPET Aliyarova Madina Birlesovna has told about this.

The presentation of the new educational program took place within the framework of the meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council. This meeting was chaired by the Vice-Rector for Academic Activities of the AUPET Sergey Vladimirovich Konshin.

Also, two new educational programs were approved at this meeting:

Hydropower – The Department “Power Supply and Renewable Energy Sources” of the Institute “Electric Engineering and Electrical Power”;

Software Engineering – The Department “IT Engineering” of the Institute “Information Technologies”.

On the agenda, the issues of providing students with new educational programs of AUPET with textbooks were discussed. For the university, the priority direction of the development of the material base is the regular replenishment of the libraries with educational and educational literature. There are 609 697 books in library fund today, including 226 219 copies in the Kazakh language. It is important to note that AUPET University publishes its own scientific and methodological manuals annually.

AUPET University is the best technical university in Kazakhstan. This is confirmed by modern, well-equipped laboratories. The university administration pays special attention to the development of a technical base for teaching students. At a meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council, a decision to purchase the latest equipment as part of the modernization of the university laboratories was made.
