Students, pursue a career in the best companies in Kazakhstan.Job fair was held online (headline)

What do you need to get a job in a national company? What programs are there for young professionals? The Employers answered these and many other questions on April 23, 2021 from 14.00-17.00 on the ZOOM online platform in a new format to the AUPET students at the job fair live.

More than 150 students and alumni of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev attended the job fair online. AUPET Career Center was the organizer of the event. All employers were warmly welcomed by the students. The number of visitors did not decline until the very end of the event, which indicates a high level of organization. The participants could communicate with the employers live and ask them questions of interest.

“We hold the job fairs regularly. Our main task is to introduce students to leading companies in Kazakhstan. It is important for us that our students receive more invitations to internships and work,” said Rufina Rinatovna Mukhamedzhanova, the Director of the Department for Academic Activities.

At the job fair, AUPET students learned about career opportunities in the following companies: Halyk kazteleport, JTI, Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan, lux-telecom, Izbasar JSC “Kazatomprom”, Bolashak Group, AQTechno, Danon. The Employers, in turn, were able to communicate online with young professionals to form their talent pool.

At the job fair, students learned how to pursue a career competently in national companies of Kazakhstan, as well as about job search technologies, digital etiquette and effective communication skills in the Internet space.

The students were interested in career prospects in companies, details of organizing internships, as well as the employers' vision in the development of young employees. The participants exchanged contacts for further cooperation, discuss employment and internship.
