WE CONGRATULATE YAKUBOVA MUBARAK ZAKHIDOVNA ON THE 80TH ANNIVERSARY!

On May 2, 2021, Professor of the Department of Telecommunications and Innovative Technologies Yakubova Mubarak Zakhidovna turns 80.

Mubarak Zakhidovna is Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department “Telecommunications and Innovative Technologies”. She began her career at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev in 2010.

An interesting and rich work activity of Mubarak Zakhidovna began in 1963 after graduating from the Tashkent Electro-Technical Institute of Communications with a degree in Radio Communication and Broadcasting.

During her career, she has published more than 250 scientific papers, articles, monographs, textbooks in Kazakh, Russian and English.

Mubarak Zakhidovna was the first specialist in the USSR who worked in the field of automation of information systems and libraries in the USSR. In 1991, together with specialists from the Institute of Cybernetics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, she developed a project on the technology of system modeling of automated information and library systems of the USSR.

From 1992 to 1998, Mubarak Zakhidovna was Vice-Rector for Academic Activities of the Tashkent State Institute of Culture named after A. Kadiri. Under her leadership, modern information technologies were introduced into the educational process. In the same institute, Mubarak Zakhidovna worked as the head of the department "Informatics and Technical Means" in the period from 1998 to 2007.

In 2001, for her selfless work and contribution to the training and education of students, Mubarak Zakhidovna was awarded a personal medal dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a certificate of honor for her active work in the field of science.

In 2007, Mubarak Zakhidovna began working at the Peoples' Friendship University of Kazakhstan as the head of the Department “Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications”.

In 2008, Mubarak Zakhidovna received the title of Academician of the Kazakhstan National Academy of Natural Sciences for high achievements in the leadership of the department, both in the educational process and in scientific activity.

Mubarak Zakhidovna's professional qualities are still in demand now. At the age of 80, she is the leader of doctoral students and makes a personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists.

For more than fifty years you have made a great contribution to the development of science and technology, brought up more than one generation of talented IT specialists and continue to actively participate in the public life of the university.
