The team of the Institute of Heat Power Engineering and Control Systems congratulates Professor of the Higher Attestation Commission, Doctor of Technical Sciences Dostiyarov Abay Mukhamediyarula on receiving the Alfred Nobel medal. He received a medal for his contribution to the development of invention from the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. This well-deserved award is a direct confirmation of the high assessment of many years of conscientious work, recognition of the great personal contribution to the development of science.

At present, Dostiyarov Abay Mukhamediyaruly works as a professor at the Department “Thermal Power Plants” at the Institute of Heat Power Engineering and Control Systems of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev. He is in charge of scientific and technical projects. He is the author of over 190 scientific papers. He is an honored worker of science and education, a member of the Academy of Natural Sciences. Abay Mukhamediyaruly is the owner of many awards, prizes, orders and medals of both republican and international levels. There are the honorary title "Founder of the Scientific School: Micro flame Combustion of Fuel", the grant "The best teacher of the university" 2016, the Order of Catherine the Great for serving science and education, the Order of LABORE ET SCIENTIA (LABOR AND KNOWLEDGE).

In addition, Professor Dostyarov A.M. was awarded the following medals: a gold medal from the Research and Production Enterprise of the European Union; gold medal named after Akhmet Baitursynov for contribution to the development of the country's higher education system and contribution to the training of new generation specialists from the Associations of Higher Educational Institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Medal "For Contribution to Energy" from the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
