On April 30, 2021, the International Conference on the Digital World and Engineering Education was held. It was held within the ERASMUS + program "Advanced Center for Doctoral Students and Young Researchers in Informatics" 610166-EPP-1-2019-1-SK-EPPK2-CBHE-JP "under the ACeSyri project and organized by the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named Gumarbek Daukeyev (AUPET).

The Rector of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev S.S. Sagintayev delivered a welcoming speech. The conference participants are: students of PhD programs, faculty and students of universities of Kazakhstan. There are: Nazarbayev University; SDU; Satbayev University; M.Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University; West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University named after Zhangir Khan; Kyzylorda State University named after Korkyt Ata and European Union (Zhilina University, Ruse University named after "Angel Kanchev", Universite de Lorraine, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Center for the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility of the Republic of Kazakhstan).

In total, 55 people took part in the conference. The International Conference on the Digital World and Engineering Education is an international forum for the exchange of knowledge and methodology in engineering education, artificial intelligence applications, software development and machine learning. The conference aims to find research that can contribute to all areas of IT engineering, higher engineering education.
