On May 5, 2021, the Rector of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeev Sagintayeva Saule Savetovna and the Chairman of the Board of JSC "National Center for Space Research and Technologies" Nurguzhin Marat Rakhmalievich signed a constituent agreement. This is an agreement of the branch of Non-profit JSC “AUPET” for aerospace specialties in the JSC "National Center for Space Research and Technologies".

The parties agreed to create a branch of AUPET for aerospace specialties as a joint structural unit. Its goal is to train specialists in aerospace specialties, to carry out fundamental, applied, technological research on aerospace themes.

The agreement also provides for cooperation in the field of education and science on a mutually beneficial basis in basic educational programs.
