On May 5, 2021, the non-profit joint-stock company "Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev" and the branch of "Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Almaty" signed a memorandum of partnership.

The organizations plan to cooperate in the development and popularization of the space direction by creating circles and sections. Soon, in the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Almaty, training in rocketry and space engineering for students will be organized. In addition, thematic contests, festivals, rallies, lectures, master classes, seminars and trainings will be held.

This cooperation will contribute to the development of personal education of schoolchildren. It will integrate additional and secondary education. It will design a motivational educational environment. It will create conditions for everyone's access to world knowledge and technologies, as well as a mechanism for financial support for the right of children to participate in additional general education programs, regardless of their place of residence.
