GLORY TO THE HEROES WHO PROTECTED THE WORLD!

From the Rector of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev, professor Saule Sovetovna Sagintayeva, the veterans have received postcards and congratulations on Victory Day! The party cell and the trade union committee of the university have handed over food packages to the veterans.

We congratulate our veterans on the 76th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War from the bottom of our hearts!

May 9 is the main, holy date in the life of each of us. This is a day of immeasurable joy and pride of our people for the feat of the glorious generation of real heroes who, not sparing their lives, defended their Fatherland and liberated Europe from fascism. We will forever preserve in our hearts the memory of their courage, loyalty to duty and love for their homeland. Celebrating May 9, we thank the heroic generation of war veterans for Victory! The great feat of all our fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers is forever inscribed in History; it will always live in the hearts of Kazakhstanis.

The war claimed 30 million lives of Soviet people, including about a million of Kazakhstanis. Therefore, our duty is not to forget by whom and at what cost the Victory was won, to remember everyone who died of wounds, who did not live to this day, who today celebrates the 76th anniversary of Victory Day with us! Decades pass, generations change, but the memory of the Great Victory of our people remains in our hearts. With deep respect, we bow our heads to those who fought on the battlefields of this most bloody of wars, who worked in the rear and forged the weapon of Victory!
