On May 19, 2021, the opening of the educational and scientific laboratory "Security of wireless networks and construction of cryptosystems" at the Scientific and Technical Center "Problems of Information Security" named after Omar Turganbek will be held at AUPET.

On May 19, 2021, as part of the implementation of the AUPET transformation strategy into a research-type university until 2025, the opening of the educational and scientific laboratory "Security of wireless networks and the construction of cryptosystems" at the Scientific and Technical Center "Problems of Information Security" named after Omar Turganbek will be held. The head of the Center is a candidate of political sciences, academician of the International Academy of Informatization, associate professor of the Department “Information Systems and Cyber Security” Berdibaev R.Sh.).

The educational and scientific laboratory "Security of wireless networks and the design of cryptosystems" is planned to be used in conjunction with the department "Information systems and cyber security" to carry out scientific research and organize the educational process for students of the Educational programs "Information Security Systems".

Also, the students of Master’s Programs: "Information Security Systems", "Information Systems" and "Computer Engineering and Software" will be sent to the Scientific and Technical Center "Problems of Information Security". There, the students will undergo practical training and carry out research work together with the leaders and staff of the Center.
