Association \"KAZENERGY\" announces the anniversary intellectual team competition \"Student Energy Challenge\"

Association "KAZENERGY" announces the anniversary intellectual team competition "Student Energy Challenge". The competition will be held among students of institutions of higher and (or) postgraduate education in Kazakhstan, studying in technical specialties.

The Anniversary Contest is held in partnership and with the financial support of Shell Kazakhstan BV.

Online webinar "Shell NXplorers" at the stage of development of project passports, independent examination of projects / ideas on the topics of the Competition, preparation of a presentation video at the stage of project defense in front of the Competition Jury, consultation of teams at each stage are provided within the framework of the Competition.

In 2021, the winners of the Competition will receive a paid digital internship that includes professional counseling and diagnostics, as well as mentoring.

To participate in the Competition, student teams between the ages of 18 and 25 studying in undergraduate and graduate programs are invited. The team must represent one of the Kazakh universities (different specialties and training courses are allowed). Several teams from each university can participate.

To participate in the Competition, the following conditions must be met:

1. Form a team of 3 to 5 people;

2. Choose a captain and name the team;

3. Determine the direction and theme of the Competition for the project / idea (energy, oil and gas and mining industries, environmental protection / ecology);

4. Select a supervisor and / or mentor to support the project / idea;

5. Receive a certificate from the university confirming the study of each student (team member) indicating the last name, patronymic name, faculty, specialty and course of study;

6. The team captain is the first to fill out the Application Form for the Competition on the website www.kazenergy.com - Activities - Educational program - Team competitions - Registration of SECH-2021 teams in Kazakh or Russian. Then each team member individually fills out the Questionnaire. Team registration is carried out after all team members have completed the Questionnaire. Team registration is open from April 20 to May 31, 2021.
