The KAZENERGY Association announces the second season of the StudentDigitalFest team competition among students of higher and (or) postgraduate education organizations in Kazakhstan
The Association "KAZENERGY" announces the extension of accepting applications from student teams until June 30, 2021 for participation in the second season of the team competition "StudentDigitalFest" (hereinafter referred to as the Competition) among students of higher and (or) postgraduate education organizations in Kazakhstan.
The competition is held in partnership and with financial support from Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. The competition is aimed at encouraging young people to develop applied innovative projects and digitalization solutions at industrial enterprises of the industry.
To participate in the Competition, teams formed from students aged 18 to 25 years old, studying Bachelor’s or Master’s programs are invited. The team must represent one of the Kazakh universities (different specialties and training courses are allowed).
Several teams can participate from each university.
To participate in the Competition, you must fulfill the following conditions:
1. to form a team of 2 to 4 people;
2. to choose a captain and name the team;
3. to select one Terms of Reference of the Competition for the development of a draft solution;
4. to select a scientific advisor to provide support in the development of a draft solution;
5. to receive a certificate from the university confirming the study of each student (team member) indicating the last name, first name, patronymic, faculty, specialty and course of study;
6. Applications for the Competition will be accepted on the website www.kazenergy.com - Activities - Educational program - Team competitions - Registration of SDF-2021 teams from May 17 to June 17, 2021.
The team captain must fill out the Questionnaire first. Then each team member fills out the Questionnaire individually. The questionnaire can be filled out at will in Kazakh or Russian. A competent jury of representatives from industry, scientific and research organizations will evaluate the best team solutions projects.
The total prize pool of the Competition is USD 15,000 for all winning teams.
We ask the heads of universities to assist in the active participation of students in the Competition and in obtaining a certificate of confirmation of training for their registration in the Competition.
