The Day of State Symbols was held at the AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev

On June 4, 2021, in hall of the building A of Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev, a solemn one-time performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. It was held as part of the celebration of the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Students, administration and university staff took part in the event.

 This event was aimed at strengthening the spirit of patriotism among the population of the country and promoting respect for state symbols. It was held under the general slogan "Men Kazakstannyт patriotymyn!" during the action-challenge "Menin Ramizderim - Menin Maktanyshym!".

 On June 4, 1992, the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the laws "On the State Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "On the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and "On the musical edition of the State Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan". On June 4, 2007, the Constitutional Law "On State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was adopted. In accordance with this Law, June 4 is celebrated annually as the day of state symbols in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On February 8, 2016, the rules for celebrating the Day of State Symbols were approved by a decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Within a month, audio and video clips about state symbols will be broadcast on the LED-screen located in the hall of building A of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev.
