Quarantine may be strengthened due to the \"delta strain\" in Kazakhstan

At a government meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov said that an Interdepartmental Commission would be held soon. The issue of strengthening sanitary and epidemiological requirements in the city of Nur-Sultan and other regions will be considered there.

According to Tugzhanov, the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the country is stable.

"The virus reproductive index is 1, but we see what the situation is in the world and bordering countries. That is, new strains of coronavirus are spreading rapidly. Screening was carried out in Nur-Sultan. Therefore, here Minister Tsoi said that there is a" delta strain." with this the regional akims must control the situation, "Yeraly Tugzhanov said.

At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister said that the Interdepartmental Commission will hold a meeting and will consider measures to strengthen sanitary and epidemiological requirements in the city of Nur-Sultan and other regions.

In crowded places, the distance must be maintained. People must wear personal protective equipment. It is necessary to strengthen the work of monitoring groups in all regions. Those who enter public places must strictly observe protective measures. Also, everyone should go through the "Ashyq" application.
