ABOUT THE DISTRIBUTION OF EDUCATIONAL GRANTS IN THE 2021-2022 ACADEMIC YEAR: BACHELOR’S PROGRAMS
More than 56 thousand grants were allocated for admission to Bachelor’s programs in the 2021-2022 academic year. This year, in connection with the instruction of the President, the total number of grants has been increased by 5,000. Applications for participation in the competition for the award of educational grants begin on July 13 and will last until July 20 inclusive.
Educational grants were distributed in accordance with the data of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan and employers' information on the specialties in demand.
The engineering, manufacturing and construction industries received the largest number of grants - 17,028 grants. Educational sciences - 9573 grants, information and communication technologies - 7487, natural sciences - 4088, agricultural sciences - 1895, health - 2700, arts and humanities - 1615, business, management and law - 1223, social sciences, journalism and information – 960.
Grants are also provided for the project "Mengilik el zhastary - industriyaga" ("Serpin").
“Applicants will submit documents through the information system. In addition, virtual admissions offices of universities will work. As in the past year, specialists will advise applicants through video communication,” said Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuanysh Yergaliev.
