Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev donates 1500 laptops to future students

Applicants who have scored high scores on the UNT will receive them.

It is impossible to live in the modern world without digital technologies. The period of the pandemic has once again proved how important it is to have a laptop on hand in order to be able to study from anywhere in the world.

One of the university's missions is social support for students in the form of discounts on tuition, various scholarships and personal grants, and the provision of preferential places in hostels. Since 2020, the tradition of giving laptops with the latest generation processor to students with the best UNT indicators has arisen. It continues this year as well.

Future AUPET students, having entered one of the leading technical universities of Kazakhstan and received a new high-performance teaching tool, will be able to easily and affordably master the disciplines of the chosen specialty. The laptops have a licensed operating system Windows 10, as well as Office 2019, which allows you to provide students with quality equipment for distance learning.

The laptop has a built-in web-camera for convenient communication between teachers and students, modern antivirus, a large amount of RAM, a fingerprint recognition module, a reliable battery for smooth operation, as well as all the programs that you need in the educational process.

The university does everything to ensure that the quality of education at the university is constantly improving and meets the high standards and modern requirements of the labor market. AUPET actively cooperates with foreign universities, as well as enterprises of Kazakhstan and the world. 80 educational and scientific laboratories operate at the university at the moment.

Let us recall that last year AUPET presented 800 Lenovo laptops with the latest generation processor to future students in honor of its 45th anniversary.
