Undergraduates and students of Master Programs of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev are invited to participate in the program \"Sustainability Living Lab: Outreach\"
We invite undergraduates and students of Master’s Programs of AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeyev of all specialties to student projects on the implementation of autonomous Renewable Energy Sources and work with sensors
The winners of the “Chevron” and "Nazarbayev University's National Conservation Initiative" Science Project Competition under the Sustainability Living Lab: Outreach program are inviting to join the team for the “Smart Space” and “Smart Litter” Projects.
• The "Smart space" project is a unique outdoor space that will provide the most comfortable conditions for the work of students and faculty outside the university. The project involves the modernization of the existing gazebo on the territory of the AUPET with solar panels for charging cell phones and laptops.
• The “Smart Litter Bins” project implies the creation of special bins, with sensors that record each garbage dumping session and signal that the tank is full. Statistical data are displayed on the monitor screen in real time and on the official website of the AUPET. The graphical interface displayed on the monitor and on the website will clearly show what kind of contribution the person using these boxes makes to the protection of the environment. The project is designed to motivate students to sort waste.
If you are interested in renewable energy sources, how to design them and create an autonomous power supply system.
Or
Are you interested in programming, working with Arduino, developing mobile applications for IOS and Android?
Upon completion of the work, the best students will receive certificates from the "Sustainability Living Lab: Outreach"
