Acceptance of documents for participation in the competition for the award of grants to the Master’s Programs has begun

Acceptance of documents for participation in the competition for the award of educational grants to the Master’s Programs has begun. It will be held until August 14, inclusively, through virtual admissions offices of universities.

Educational grants for Master’s Programs are awarded on a competitive basis based on the results of comprehensive testing. A total of 36,965 people took part in the comprehensive testing.

“When submitting documents, the applicant indicates one group of educational programs and three higher educational institutions. The competition for the award of an educational grant for Master's Programs will be held from 16 to 20 August this year. In general, 13 thousand grants were allocated for the 2021-2022 academic year for Master's Programs in Kazakhstan. The largest number of grants is provided for pedagogical specialties - 3642. For engineering, manufacturing and construction industries, 3429 grants were allocated, for natural sciences, mathematics and statistics - 1278, information and communication technologies - 1233, agriculture and biological resources - 527 ", - said the Director of the Department “Higher and postgraduate education” of MES RK Adlet Toybaev.

Recall that educational grants were distributed on the basis of data from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan and employers in terms of personnel needs.

The lists of holders of an educational grant for a Master's degree will be published on the website of the National Testing Center.
