\"New academic year\" - the chief sanitary doctor of Kazakhstan has signed a decree
The country's chief state sanitary doctor has signed a new decree "On conducting sanitary-anti-epidemic and sanitary-preventive measures to prevent coronavirus infection in educational institutions in the 2021-2022 academic year," Tengrinews.kz reports with reference to Gov.kz.
According to the new decree, studying in the 2021-2022 academic year in a regular format in educational institutions of all forms of ownership and departmental affiliation is allowed under the following conditions:
100% vaccination of teachers and staff (with the exception of persons with permanent medical contraindications who have recovered from COVID-19 within 3 months after recovery);
implementation of the Ashyq application at the entrance to the organization (registration by QR code (check-in) of teachers, staff, parents (legal representatives), visitors studying at the age of 18 and older);
observance of the mask regime;
a ban on holding mass events (cultural, educational, extracurricular and parental meetings, etc.);
a ban on holding events in organizations of preschool and secondary education with the unification of groups and classes;
the abolition of the office studying system, with the exception of laboratory, practical classes;
separation of students of primary, middle and senior classes (taking into account the maximum opportunity for the time of the beginning of classes).
When registering in a secondary education organization in 1 incubation period of cases of COVID-19 diseases in more than 30 percent of classes of one shift, the change is subject to isolation for home quarantine for 14 days.
At the same time, foreign students will be admitted to full-time training if they have a full course of vaccination against COVID-19, confirmed by a certificate / vaccination passport by the authorized body of the country of residence, as well as if there is a negative test result for COVID-19 by the polymerase chain reaction method, obtained no later than 3 days after crossing the State Border of Kazakhstan.
When registering in colleges, higher educational institutions in 1 incubation period of COVID-19 cases in more than 30 percent of groups of one stream, the stream is subject to isolation for home quarantine for 14 days.
