WE CONGRATULATE MAZHITOVA LYAYLA KHAMITOVNA ON 75th ANNIVERSARY!

Mazhitova Lyaylya Khamitovna was born on the 09/06/1946/ She is a Professor of the Department “Space Engineering”.

In 1968 Mazhitova Lyaylya Khamitovna graduated from the Physics Department of the Kazakh State University named after S. M. Kirov (now the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi) with a degree in Physics.

In 1987, Lyaila Khamitovna defended her Ph.D. thesis on the theme: "Formation of professional interests of students." She was awarded the academic degree of candidate of pedagogical sciences.

In 1995 Mazhitova L.Kh. defended her doctoral dissertation on the theme: "Pedagogical foundations of the formation of professional interests of student youth." From 1995 to 2000 she worked at the Higher Attestation Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Mazhitova Lyaylya Khamitovna has been working in Non-profit JSC “AUPET” since the first days of the transformation. Lyaila Khamitovna began her career as an assistant at the department, then worked as a senior teacher and associate professor. From 1997 to the present time she has been working as a professor at the Department “Space Engineering”.

During her work at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev Lyaila Khamitovna actively participates in the social life of the institute and the university. She pays a lot of attention to strengthening the educational and laboratory base and educational and methodological work.

1996 to 2005 Lyaila Khamitovna headed the Department “Physics”, having founded the structure and content of the modular program with the introduction of a rating system for assessing knowledge.

Mazhitova L.Kh. has implemented a professionally oriented physics course, has developed a number of textbooks and methodological guidelines.

7 candidate theses were defended under the guidance of L.Kh. Mazhitova. Lyaila Khamitovna has over 200 scientific and methodological papers published in rating, republican and international journals with a non-zero impact factor. Lyaila Khamitovna is an Academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan.

Labor activity of Lyaili Khamitovna was highly appreciated not only by the executives of the university, but also at the republican level. So, in 2009 she was awarded the badge "Excellence in Education".
