Today, on the Youtube channel AuesUniversity and Zoom, a meeting of the Rector of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev Sagintayeva Saule Savetovna with the public was held.

The rector of the university shared the results of the university's activities for 2020-2021 and gave instructions to each of the departments for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Among the achievements of the 2020-2021 academic year, the growth in the popularity of the university, the overhaul of dormitories, the opening of new modern laboratories and an increase in the general equipment of computers were noted.

During this period, AUPET is waiting for: launching language courses to prepare students for IELTS, updating the computer park, scientific and laboratory equipment, replenishing the library fund, raising the threshold score of the Unified National Testing for admission to a university and participation of AUPET students in republican and international sports competitions.

Concluding her speech, the Rector thanked the entire AUPET team for the work done in a difficult academic year for everyone. She expressed her gratitude to the students for their academic integrity during the distance learning period. The Board of Trustees received a special commendation.
