As part of supporting the electric power industry, the Almaty University of Power Engineering and telecommunications provides an opportunity for employees of JSC “Almaty Electric Power Stations” (JSC “ALEPS”) to get a second higher education based on distance learning with a corporate discount. JSC " ALEPS " is an organization engaged in the production of heat and electricity in the city of Almaty and the Almaty region. For several years the company has been a partner of the university in research, scientific and technical activities. AUPET has implemented a joint project on dual education with this organization.

Employees of JSC “ALEPS” will undergo theoretical and practical training in educational programs “Heat Power Engineering” and “Life Safety and Environmental Protection”. This is done to raise the level of competence, as well as personal and professional growth.
