Opening of the Digital Laboratory at AUPET

On September 29, the grand opening of the digital laboratory  “PROLab” was held at AUPET. High school students and applicants have the opportunity to master new professions on the latest models of computers from Apple in the new laboratory.

 The project was launched within the framework of the President K.K. Tokayev. The President noted the importance of digitalization in Kazakhstan, and instructed the training of 100 thousand high-class IT specialists. The opening of a digital laboratory is a desire to create the necessary conditions for the development of a competitive young generation. The opening of the laboratory is aimed at attracting young specialists and improving the quality of training for AUPET graduates.

New opportunities for students will allow them to gain knowledge in the field of immersive technologies and neuro technologies, which are planned to develop on the basis of the IT-engineering department.

Representatives of the   Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation, AUPET management team, representatives of "iTeacher Academy", children from the" SOS Children's Village Almaty" Private Educational Institution, children from low-income families of Akimat of Medeu and Zhetysu regions, representatives of company "LG" and students were invited. At the end of the official part, a block of classes for the study of a new profession “Application Designer” was held. For master classes, children from correctional schools and social institutions attended the opening of the laboratory.
