The Central Asian Forum "Regional Cooperation and Joint Actions to Achieve Carbon Neutrality" was held in the city of Turkestan today on October 1.

At the forum, topical issues in the field of low-carbon policy were discussed with representatives of Central Asian countries.

The forum was opened with a welcoming speech: Chairman of the Presidium of the Organization of Legal Entities Association of Environmental Organizations of Kazakhstan" A.N. In his speech, it was emphasized that the problems associated with climate change as a result of the impact of energy facilities on the environment are in the focus of the scientific community of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev, where scientific research is carried out by several research groups.
