Admission to master and doctoral studies will be held twice a year

At present, admission to master's and doctoral studies will be held twice a year. Accordingly, entrance exams will be organized twice: traditionally in August and additionally in December.

In December, the staff of the National Testing Center will organize repeated comprehensive testing and entrance exams. Acceptance of documents will begin in November.

For applicants who did not have time to pass documents, exams or receive the necessary certificates, this is certainly good news.

According to the results of summer admission and examinations for master's and doctoral studies, grants that were not awarded remained. Citizens will be able to apply for these government grants in December this year.

Information on the number of grants according to the areas of preparation and the exact deadlines for accepting documents will be published additionally.

Applicants entering doctoral studies submit the following package of documents for educational programs of higher and (or) postgraduate education:

1) an application addressed to the head of educational programs of higher and (or) postgraduate education (in any form);

2) document on education (original, when submitting documents to the selection committee);

3) an identity document (required for personal identification);

4) an electronic certificate confirming knowledge of a foreign language

5) a medical certificate in the form 075 / y in electronic format, approved by order No. KР DSM-175/2020).

In cases of the implementation of restrictive measures, the introduction of a state of emergency, the occurrence of emergencies of a social, natural and man-made character in a certain territory, a medical certificate is provided directly to the educational organization as these measures are removed;

6) six photographs of 3x4 centimeters;

7) a personal record sheet or other document confirming labor activity, certified by the personnel service at the place of work;

8) a list of scientific and scientific-methodical works (scientific publications, research plan, essays and other documents) for the last 3 calendar years.

Persons with a Master's degree and work experience of at least 9 (nine) months or who have completed residency training in medical specialties are admitted to doctoral studies.

Assessment of the entrance exam for doctoral studies: essay - 20 points, passing the test for readiness to study in doctoral studies - 30 points and the exam on the profile of the group of educational programs - 50 points.

The duration of the entrance exam is 4 hours, during which the applicant writes an essay, submits for readiness to study in doctoral studies, answers an electronic examination ticket, consisting of 3 questions.

The passing score for admission to doctoral studies on a state educational order is 75 points, the passing score for admission to doctoral studies on a paid basis is 50 points.
