Meeting at the intellectual club \"Parasat\"

Today in the intellectual club "Parasat" a meeting with the outstanding Kazakh writer, screenwriter Smagul Elubay has been held. The head of the department of “Social Disciplines” Kabdushev B.Zh., faculty of the department and students of our university took part in the meeting. The main theme of the writer's work is the difficult times and years experienced by the Kazakh people in Soviet times. His novels "Minazhat", "Ak Boz Uy" tell about the years of Stalinist repression and famine.

These works allowed the younger generation to learn more deeply and study the history of the nation. At the meeting, Elubai Smagul shared specific figures about hunger and repression in the Kazakh steppe. He also said that the film based on the novel "Ak Boz Uy" ("Single Yurt") would be released this year. This film will be presented to viewers shortly. The writer answered the questions of faculty and students, which were accompanied by an interesting meaningful conversation. The audience was interested in the issues of the writer's creativity, his path to the art of writing, the history of writing literary works, the continuity of generations, the modernization of national consciousness, the elimination of "white spots" in the history of the people and the upbringing of generations. In addition, Smagul Elubay stressed the need to strengthen the morality of every Kazakhstani, while simultaneously developing religion, culture and science.
